We are constantly aiming to improve service, and so we are pleased to announce the following improvements which were introduced in January:
Answers to Query Forms Submitted: All types of query form submitted at the information desks are now answered by e-mail. This is a more effective communication with our readers, as you will only be asked to return to the desk if there is something held there to collect.
Missing items: A new workflow has been put into place which will deal with missing items more quickly. We will either purchase replacement copies more rapidly, or if this is not possible the catalogue records will be removed to avoid any expectation that the item can be supplied or is in the collection.
