Bhí idir rannpháirtithe an Chlub Leabhar agus mic léinn ón Dioplóma sa Ghaeilge Fheidhmeach, Scoil na Gaeilge, an Léinn Cheiltigh agus an Bhéaloidis UCD, i measc an lucht éisteachta. Bhí plé spéisiuil ar chúlra an leabhair Scáil an Phríosúin agus thug Anna léargas iontach ar an taighde cuimsitheach a dhéanann sí sula dtéann sí i mbun scríbhneoireachta.

Léigh sí sliocht gearr ón úrscéal agus ansin bhí deis againn roinnt ceisteanna a chur uirthi faoin leabhar agus faoi chúrsaí litríochta go ginearálta. Ar mbuíochas leis an Dr Liam Mac Amhlaigh, éascaitheoir an chlub, a d’eagraigh an cuairt seo. ‘An Litir’ le Liam Mac Cóil a bheidh á léamh don chéad seisiúin eile a thosóidh ar an 29 Eanáir 2018.

The guest lecture with Anna Heussaff at the last Bord na Gaeilge UCD Book Club session, held on 15 November 2017, was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

A Q&A followed an interesting discussion on the background and research behind Anna’s novel Scáil an Phríosúin.

We would like to thank the facilitator of the book club, Dr Liam Mac Amhlaigh, who organised this visit.

The book club will resume in January 2018. Club Leabhar Bhord na Gaeilge UCD is a collaboration between James Joyce Library and www.clubleabhar.com.
